Day's of '47!

We had a great 24th of July this year! Our neighborhood had a little bbq and parade for the kids. I remember when I was little we would decorate our bikes and do a little parade around the neighborhood, so I was excited that they planned this...it brought back some memories! Sherice and the boys came over to our house, and we decorated their scooters and Zoey's car before heading over to the party. They were most excited for the balloons! They each colored a couple of their own. We had a great time watching the kids in the parade! It was so cute! They also had fun jumping on the tramp, playing on the swing set, and holding the babies! I have to hold those cute babies every chance I get, and Zoey loves to join in on the fun. We also had a great firework show! Thanks for putting on a great little party...we'll look forward to it next year! William * Zoey * Jarren

How cute is little Parker? Love those monkey lips!

Zoey thought this whole parade idea was great! Thanks to Madi for driving Zo's car for her! She's not that great at steering the thing, so I was worried she would crash into somebody! Madi was more than happy to drive it!

What a Diva!

Happy 60th Birthday!

Sunday we celebrated Ben's Mom's Birthday! It was her 60th!!! For some reason I was thinking she was only like 55!! Guess that's a compliment! We had a fun night. Great dinner, (sorry you had to cook on your birthday, but it was really good!), and good company. Ben's Uncle Myron and Aunt Deann and their family were here for the celebration. They live in Phoenix, and were passing through to Idaho. It was nice to see them!

We hope you had a very Happy Birthday! We are glad we could help celebrate it with you! We love you!

I think there were around 18 of us their!

Growing UP!

Ok, so Ben has been gone at scout camp since Wednesday, and will be gone until Saturday night. Dang, I miss him like crazy! We haven't been apart since hunting season, and I'm seriously so bored without him! I do have to say I've overcome a huge milestone this time with him being gone. Usually I am TeRrIfIeD to be home alone. I mean, crying, awake at any little sound, begging Kim to sleep over at my house, just paranoid about everything! I think I'm finally growing up. I haven't been scared once this time...haven't had to go check the basement in the middle of the night with a pair of scissors (it makes me feel better!), or leave to my Mom's in the middle of the night because I'm convinced there is someone downstairs (yes, this has happened before!) So just had to give props to myself for being a big girl! It does help that I have the cutest little girl ever sharing my bed with me while he's gone! She is such a good little buddy, and keeps me entertained! Here are just a few random pictures of her cuteness!
Zoey with her new "pet"...Little Lancy! She loves this little guy, and could just watch him swim around forever! She likes to talk to him, and feed him!
Wow, she's getting big! She looks so old to me here!

Zoey got to go on a date with Kimmy and Steve, so we did her hair all cute! She found these ladybug clips, and wanted to see them in her hair. She kept trying to see them in the mirror, but just couldn't manage it. So I told her I'd take a picture so she could see them. She thought that was pretty cool!

Oh, how I love her! I love that she lets me get her all dolled up! I do have to admit, I love doing her hair as much as she loves having it done!

Swimming Time!

This summer we have been having so much fun going to the pool! Zoey had her first set of swim lessons, that just ended this last week. We went swimming everyday after her class, and thought it was so fun...so we ended up buying a pass. A bunch of my friends have passes too, so it's so fun to go and hang out with them! Needless to say, we will be at the pool a lot this summer!

Zoey did great in her classes. They were pretty basic, and mostly just taught them to get comfortable with the water. Now Zoey is swimming under water almost the whole time she is in the pool...she is my little fish! This is a great step for her considering she didn't like going under the water before.

There are a bunch of pictures I posted. They range from her first swim class, last swim class, and fun times at the pool in between!First day of swim class!

I usually hate swimming, but I've had fun going with them this year!

Sherice and the boys came and went with us a night!

Ben was able to come with us a night too!

She wasn't too big on the diving board, so I helped out a little!

What cute girls! It was fun Zoey could take the class with her friends!

Miles Turns 7!

We just had a weekend of Birthday parties! On Saturday night we went over to Mark & Joann's to celebrate Miles's 7th Birthday. We can't believe he is already 7! We bbq'd, opened presents, ate cake and ice cream, and did some fireworks. It was a fun night, and we enjoyed spending time with Miles on his birthday! We love you Miles! Miles wanted a RED cake for his birthday!

Taylor and I had some fun with the camera....
