Memorial Weekend at the Sand Dunes!

We had SO much fun this weekend down at the Sand Dunes. Sherice invited us to go down with her family, and we are so glad she did! We love going down there with them, and are so glad they let us tag along. We drove down Friday after work. We followed the rain clouds the whole way there! I was dreading camping in the rain. Once we got there though, the storm had passed and it was fine. It was way cold, so thankfully Sherrie and Joe let Zoey sleep in their trailor. Zoey was so excited to be camping, and did so good! On Saturday she could hardly wait to get out on the 4-wheelers! She went out with Ben on his for the first ride. She did great, and loves to "go fast!" She has no fear, and will go along with whatever Dad wants her to try...bowls and all! The rest of the day she was lucky enough to ride in the Rhino. Thanks to Joe for letting Ben and I try out the Rhino, we really, really want one now! We were supposed to come home Saturday night, but decided to stay another night! I'm so glad we did. We all had so much fun camping and 4-wheeling! We can't wait until we get to go again! Thanks again to the Brown's for letting us go down with you guys! We really appreciate it!
Yeah, she's tough!

Zoey LOVED camping! She even dealt with being dirty really well!

Zo's 1st Dance Pictures!

Last Thursday Zoey had her first dance pictures taken. All the girls looked so stinkin' cute in their little peackock costumes! Zoey loved getting all dolled up. She was so excited when I put make-up on her. She thought that was the best thing ever! She was more than happy to pose for pictures. She loved showing off the feathers on her bum! On our way out the door I told her she needed to put a jacket on, and she said "No, I have feathers to keep me warm!" What a smart girl!

A dAy At ThE bOoNdOcKs!

On Saturday Grandpa Spencer's work had a fun party at the Boondocks! We had so much fun. Thanks Grandpa for inviting us along! Zoey's favorite activity was the big blow up slide. At first she was scared of it, and I had to go down with her a bunch of times. Finally, I just kind of pushed her down on her own so she could see that she could do it on her own. After that she was able to do it on her own! Another favorite was the water boats. It was really warm outside, so it was nice to cool off on the boats! Mini golf was my favorite part! I haven't played that forever. This was Zoey's first time golfing. She did pretty good, and was patient with us as we went through the course. She would go and put the ball right next to the whole and putt it in from there. She had a hole in 1 everytime! We also were able to eat dinner there, and play at the arcade. It was such a fun night. Zoey loves any opportunity to play with her cousins and Grandma and Grandpa! Thanks for the fun day!

(I had a TON of cute pictures, I narrowed it down I promise, but there are still a lot! Enjoy!)

The gang getting ready to go on the water boats!

Zoey didn't like the water going in her face!

Taylor was having fun squirting Grandpa!

I think Grandpa got more wet than Taylor, and he didn't even go on the ride! He's such a good sport to sit there and let the kids squirt him!

Zoey on the slide!

I was able to get in on the action too! Fun stuff!

Ben trying to help Zoey learn how to putt!

Yes, I got a hole in 1! No applause please!

A game of air hockey is always a fun time!

The motorcycles got me a little dizzy, but Zo enjoyed them!

Living out A Dream!

On Friday night Sherice, Christy, and I all got together to do Sherice's hair! Sherice was wanting her hair colored, so I told her to go to the store and buy some color and I would do it for her! I loved every second of it! May sound silly to some, but I have ALWAYS wanted to do hair. Sherice was brave to let us try it out! She went blonde, and it turned out way cute. Christy came over too, and brought all her hair stuff. Christy trimmed her hair for her, and cut her some new bangs! We had a fun night hanging out with eachother, and playing beauty shop! I really think I need to go to school. Maybe when I have all my kids, and they are in school. Ben even told me he'd build me a salon in the basement! Some day! But until then, I will just have to live out my dream on Sherice's hair!

Happy Mother's Day!

I just wanted to write a little post dedicated to the special "Moms" in my life! First of all my beautiful Mom.

I love you so much Mom, and I'm so greatful for everything you do for me. You are the best Mom in the whole world! You are beautiful, funny, kind, compassionate, caring, giving, and understanding. You have been an example to me of how to be a Mom. You've always been a hard worker, and have provided for us kids. Some people may think we were spoiled, I rather think we were just blessed! Thank you. I hope my kids grow to love and respect me as much as your kids love and respect you! Thank you for all you do! I love you, and hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!

My mother in law is a wonderful mother also. There is no way that I would have as great a husband that I do if it weren't for him having a great Mom. Ben is such a wonderful husband, and I know his Mom plays a great part in that. I've always felt very welcome in the Spencer family, and have felt loved as if I were one of her very own daughters. Some things I love about Martha...she can always make me laugh, she is a great cook, she cares about her family, and she is a wonderful Grandma! We've been blessed to have Martha help us watch Zoey while I work once a week. Thanks for all you do! I love you!

My Grandma Lewis is one of the most amazing people ever. I love her so much, and feel so lucky to have a grandma that I am so close to. I have so many great memories of my Grandma. From the time we were little we have always adored her. I still do. I've learned a lot from her, and could only hope to turn out half as amazing as she is. She loves everyone, and can make anyone feel special. She loves her family, and would do anything for any of them. My grandma makes the best jam, peach squares, salsa, stewed tomatoes, blt's...needless to say she is a great cook! Amazing how a grilled cheese can taste so much better at Grandma's house! Thanks for all you do. I love you!

Thank you to the special Mom's in my life! You have all shown me and taught me how to be a good Mom. I love being a Mom. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful little girl. Zoey is such a sweetheart, and has made my job pretty easy. I'm greatful for Ben and how hard he works for us, so I can stay home with her. I hope you all have a very Happy Mother's Day!

Zoo Pictures!

A Day at the Zoo!

Last Monday Shellie and I took the kids to the zoo! We had a lot of fun. It was such a nice day to be out. All the kids had so much fun. The first thing Zoey wanted to see were the elephants. She loves elephants! She makes the funniest sound when she is trying to sound like one! The kids were all so good, and enjoyed being out together. Great idea Shellie...we need to get them all together more often!

NEW TRAMPOLINE!

Last weekend Ben thought it would be fun to go and buy Zoey a new tramp! So, he did! She was so excited. She had to stay outside with us, and help us the whole time we put it together. She could hardly wait! She couldn't believe that we actually got to have one at our house. She has to go out everyday and jump on it! She just loves it! This summer we are going to try and get our backyard a little more kid friendly. Zoey loves to be outside, and we just don't have a lot to do in our yard. Next will be a swing set...we have to save up some money first though! She will go nuts when that happens!

FuTsAl!

So I've got a new love...Futsal! It is seriously so much fun. For those of you who don't know what futsal is...it's indoor soccer church style! No high kicks, no hands (not even the goally)! I have never played soccer in my life, and when I heard that our ward was going to play...I thought I'd give it a shot! I've had so much fun playing the last couple weeks with Heidi and Kim. (We are the only ones that have showed up from our ward consistantly!) I would say we have been pretty dedicated seeing how most of our games are at 7 am on Saturday! It's been a great time and not to mention great exercise. I thought I was going to die the first time I played because of how much we had to run! Ben told me to not ever do that pose with my hands again! Whatever...Hang Loose Man!

Heidi loves to stage pictures just as much as I do!

Wahhoooo...I scored a goal! (Not really...just had to pretend!)

This doesn't looked stage at all... does it?! Ha!
