It was a nice try!

Saturday we thought it would be a fun idea to drive up to the mountains to see the leaves changing, and to try and get some cute Fall pictures! The drive was great, and so pretty! I love this time of year! Pictures, however didn't turn out so well! I think I got about 2 shots of Zo looking at the camera! She wasn't so into the little photo shoot! I also decided I'm really not very good at taking pictures. I love to, and take lots of them...but just not very good at it! A lot of the pictures were too dark, or had the light shining right on her face. I need to take some classes or something! So it was a nice try, and a fun drive with my family...but I didn't get the pictures I wanted. Guess there's always next time!

Disneyland - Day 3

Day 3...what a day! We had a packed day (hence a ton of pictures!) We started off the morning taking the girls to Libby Lou's. I was so excited to take Zoey here, because she loves to get all dolled up! We had seen so many girls walking around that looked so dang cute, so I could hardly wait! Well, just my luck...I got the absolute worse girl that worked there! Zoey looked horrible, just ask Angi! I learned it wasn't a good idea for me (someone who is majorly OCD over hair!) to rely on someone else to do her hair! We were taking the girls to the Princess lunch, so I was so mad that she looked so silly! Now if you no me well...I would rather do anything than complain, and hurt someones feelings, but I just couldn't help myself this day. Luckily another cute girl went in the back and fixed Zo's hair (all without the other girl ever seeing!). So I didn't have to hurt her feelings! So it turned out a little better, but I will stick to doing her hair from now on. Atti on the other hand looked adorable!

Then we were off to the Princess Lunch!

First the girls got to meet Ariel! Zoey was so excited to see her!

Next up was Sleeping Beauty. Angi & I were saying how we didn't think she was such a looker, but when she came out Zo said, "She's Beautiful"! Oh, to be a child again!

Cinderella is one of my favorites! I thought she was beautiful!

When Snow White came out, Zo turned to me and gave me a big hug. Snow White is her favorite! (She was supposed to dress up as Snow White, but was just dying to be Tinkerbell because that was what Atti was dressing up as!)

Last, but not least Belle! The girls loved getting to meet all the Princesses. The lunch, and the service I would have to give a 3, but it was all worth it when the girls faces lit up because they were meeting the Princesses!

Next we were heading back over to Disneyland. We lucked out, and when we got there Mickey & Minnie were right there! I had to get her picture with them!

While we were there, we knew a few other families that were going to be there! We ended up running into them, and stopped to chat & of course to take some pictures!

Disneyland - Day 2

Day 2 was just another full day at Disneyland! It was super hot again, but what can you do! We just drank a ton of water, and tried to stay in the shade as much as possible!

Right when we got there the Fairy Godmother was standing right there, so Zoey was able to meet her! She went up and gave her a big hug. Funny how excited even an adult (Me!) gets everytime you see a character walking around! Disneyland truly is magical!

We spent a lot of the time at California Adventure on Day 2. We were able to go on the new Toy Story ride a couple of times! How fun is that ride...one of my favorites! We also had to go on the Grizzly River Run...this is Ben's favorite ride. We were so excited this year, because is much taller, and able to go on most of the rides. So Ben was so excited to take her on this! So we get up to the enterance, and there is this guy standing right by the height restriction sign. He was making sure all the little ones were tall enough. So Zoey gets up there...we are telling her to stand up tall. She of course is 3, and wasn't standing up as tall as she could, so Ben helped her. The guy wasn't having that. Said, "Nope, not tall enough this time." I was so mad! You could maybe slide a piece of paper under her head. Seriously! So Angi had the idea to go stuff napkins in her shoes. So that's what we did! However the next time we got up there the guy wasn't there anymore...it was a new guy. We walked right past him, and got on with no problems. I'm so glad we did because Zoey LOVED this ride as much as Ben does! We all got soaked, but it was still SO fun!!!

Zoey of course had to pick out a new Dumbo. Because she is so obsessed with elephants right now...her Dumbo she had is getting holes in it because she plays with it so much!!

Disneyland - Day 1

2 weeks ago we were able to go to Disneyland! We had such a fun time! This trip was totally last minute. I still can't believe we went! My friend Angi called me on Friday night to ask me a question. I asked her what she was doing, and she told me she was getting ready to leave for Disneyland in the morning! I was like, what...you can't just go to Disneyland! She said we should come with them. I was like WHATEVER...we are so not the type to just pick up and go! After hanging up with her, and then talking to Ben...we decided what the heck, lets go! You only live one life right?! Might as well have fun doing it! (I think Angi told me that on the phone!) So we decided we would go Monday after work!

We drove down! What a long drive! Zoey did great though. We stopped in Primm that night, and then headed to Disneyland Tuesday morning. We were a little suprised at how hot it was there! I thought going in October it would be a little cooler...nope sorry! It was freaking hot! The first day we crammed as much in as we could! We were ALL so excited to be there. Zoey went on the Carousel first...I was thinking, "Are you Serious! We didn't come all the way to DL to ride the Carousel!" But whatever! Then it was off to Dumbo...she will tell you this is her favorite ride!

So we had a great day. We met up with the Pettersson's that night. Zoey was so excited to be there with all the kids! Thankfully Angi was able to go on Teacups! Zoey really wanted to go on them, but both Ben and I refused! We would both be so sick if we did. We told her to wait for when we were with the other kids! So Angi was a trooper, and went on it with them all!

We are so glad they suggested going! Matt & Angi are great, and Ben and I both really enjoy hanging out with them!

(Angi & Heather both had grea ideas breaking their trip up into days! So that's what I'm going to do to! I will post the rest as I get time! I have a billion pictures to go through!)

Bella!

Bella

Yes, this is OUR little puppy Bella! I know, I know, many of you may be shocked that we got a dog, but we did. We LOVE her, and she has us all wrapped around her little paw :-)! I have been wanting a dog for awhile now, and just kind of gave it up. Well my BFF Sherice got a dog a couple of days ago, and got me thinking about it again. So I started looking on KSL, and I immediately fell in love with this little one. I kept looking at others, and just kept going back to her picture! She was all the way in Tremonton, but she was well worth the drive! I trucked up there with Dalyn, Zoey, & my Mom to meet her. We all fell in love at first sight! She is a Toy Miniature Schnauzer. She is tini tiny, and sweet as can be! Her Mommy is 7lbs, and Daddy is 4lbs. She was the runt of the litter, and they are guessing she'll be between 4 & 5 lbs full grown.

How we came up with her name Bella...no it wasn't from Twilight! Although I love Bella from Twilight...I'm not letting her take credit for it! When Zoey was a baby, (and still now!) my Aunt Shelly started calling Zoey, Zoey Bella. Well, it stuck and we still call her that sometimes. We thought that would be a way cute name for her, and Zoey loved it! Then when we went up and met the Mom, her name is Biscuit Belle...I think it was meant to be! Bella is just a sweet name, and totally fits our little girl!

Many think we are absolutely crazy to get a dog, and maybe....but we are so excited to have her join our little family! I've been wanting to take care of something for a long time, and what do you know...this is just like a baby! I was up 3 times with her last night. But I was excited to see her, so it wasn't bad! Oh, I could just go on and on about her...but I'll stop now! Feel free to come and meet her if you'd like!

This is just from today, Zoey is wanting to hold her ALL THE TIME! It's really cute. She begged me to let her have "quiet time" with Bella laying on her! I couldn't resist!
