Tulip Festival

On Tuesday afternoon Joann and I took the kids to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. It was such a nice day, and it felt so good to be outside! The flowers were beautiful. The kids got a little bored I think, but once we arrived to the children's part...they enjoyed themselves! We got some cute pictures of all the kiddos, so it was worth it for that alone! Dalyn and Zoey were so tired when we left...they slept the whole way home. Thanks Joann for inviting us along, it was fun to hang out!

Addicted to Blogging!

I found this while blog stalking! I thought it was pretty funny! I'm totally guilty of most all these! Enjoy!

1. You feel a little guilty, when you checkout blogs of people you don't know (can you say blog stalker).

2. You bring your camera where ever you go in hopes of a good post, pictures prove you have a life.

3. You average an hour (ok maybe 2) reading other peoples blogs and creating your own posts.

11. You spend more time creating the post about an activity, then it took to actually participate in the activity.

The Best 5 Years of My Life!

5 Wonderful Years!

On Saturday Ben and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary! I can't believe it's been that long! I love Ben so much, and he truly has made me so happy! When I told Ben "Happy Anniversary" in the morning, he said "The best 5 years of my life!" My thoughts exactly! He is the best husband I could ask for. We didn't end up having the most romantic day! We were just going to go to dinner and a movie. Well, I wasn't feeling to great so we ended up just going to a movie. After the movie was over...I was not feeling good at all! We went and picked Zoey up (who was also sick), and went home. I ended up getting a good case of the flu that night. Happy anniversary to us! Ben ended up taking care of his girls all weekend. What a good guy!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! This Easter weekend was packed full of fun! On Saturday we spent the day with the Spencer's. We started off by celebrating Taylor's birthday! She just turned 9! Zoey was SO excited to give Taylor her present. She had to hold it the whole way there. We gave her a Scentsy, that's what she told me she wanted! After that we had an Easter egg hunt. It was fun, and the kids got a ton of candy. Then we went to the park to fly kites, and just play!

That night we colored Easter eggs at home. Zoey loved it! Her favorite color was the pink. We tried to put tatoos on them, but that didn't work so well. Ben took out a Sharpie, and that worked much better!

Easter Sunday was great. We woke up, and had a little hunt for Zoey in the house. She was a little disappointed that the Easter Bunny didn't wake her up. She got over it fast though! That night we went to Grandma and Grandpa Lewis's house. Zoey is the only kid, so she totally scored! She loved it, and I think everyone loved just watching her! She was nice though, and shared an egg with everyone!
